SUNY Korea offers Filipinos undergrad scholarships in IT
The
Korea-based campus of one of the top public universities in the United
States is offering scholarships to top-ranking high school graduates
aspiring for a four-year undergraduate degrees in information technology
in the English language.
In a letter dated 22 January 2014,
ChoonHo Kim, President of State University of New York (SUNY), Korea,
requested the Embassy's assistance in informing Filipino citizens of the
availability tuition and accommodation scholarships to 1-2 academically
excelling students to take up Technological Systems Management and
Computer Science at SUNY Korea's two-year old campus in Songdo in
Incheon for the fall semester in 2014 and spring semester in 2015.
"Through the help of Embassies, these students could enjoy quality
education at a state-of-the-art facility while building international
relationships with students from all over the world," President Kim
said. "And I would like to ask you to help students from the Philippines
to pursue their academic and career goals at SUNY Korea without the
burden of financial constraints."
