Beauty is in the Eye of the Computer

I stumbled upon these two pictures while I was looking for materials for my Impact Values class. I and my 14-year old student talked about the concept of "beauty". Well, in Korea, the state of being beautiful is tacitly accepted. If you're not, then you have to. Thanks to The Face Shop, Etude, Skin Food, et al. ^^;

Twilight

Who wouldn’t want to bite from a deep, red, scrumptilicious apple? Obviously, it is Bella Swann’s neck that’s on the book’s front cover. I haven’t progressed that far in the book but I think it’s not bad as Amazonians would say. The way it’s written couldn’t be better than Harry Potter or Chronicles of Narnia but Twilight is a worthy past time nonetheless.
Novels with a bite is not my genre. I guess more women are into it that are men. I often think that vampires symbolize alpha men that women find particularly romantico-sadistic; they have the ability to be both brutally seductive and (in some books) orgasmically fantastic. Wouldn’t I like to become a vampire then? I guess I have to think about it considering that I have to live forever…
